White Gates Farm offers 4 seasonal meat CSA’s for pickup in Reading, MA.
The Fall 2018 Meat CSA is just beginning!
Next pickup will be either Saturday, October 13 from 9 am to 11 am. The following two pickups will be on November 3 and December 1.
45 lb. shares (about 15 lbs. per pickup)
75 lb. shares (about 25 lbs. per pickup)
Steak upgrades are available. 12 lbs. of premium steaks like t-bone, porterhouse, sirloin for $235.

2017 marks our third season in Andover and the tenth at the Tamworth market.

We just posted our Farm to Table dinner events for 2017. Have a look! What is new on the farm this season? We will be adding our Pizza Wagon with Weekend Night Sunset Pizzas this Spring. Our tentative kickoff date is Saturday, July 8th. Stay tuned for our dedicated page for details. Also our wedding page just launched on our website. New this year, an expanded flower garden for cut flowers…………cut your own, or order your bouquet directly from the farm.
How was your winter? Ours has been a little long, but was broken up by more local farmer’s markets this year in Tamworth. We also were fortunate enough to participate in the market at Wentworth Greenhouses in Rollinsford from time to time. Hank and I took a little sojourn to visit dear friends in Florida as well, thanks to Ryan who took care of the farm for us while we were away. Now it’s onto ordering seeds, planting, and finishing up the new greenhouse.
Don’t forget to order your Fall Pig soon. A reminder will be going out to all of our past customers. He who hesitates doesn’t bring home the bacon!! Until next time………………..

Summer Meat CSA
People in the Reading, MA area looking for high-quality, natural meat, still have time to join the White Gates Farm Summer Meat CSA, running now through August 20th. It’s a great option to avoid spending time shopping at the supermarket or butcher shop and allows you to support our small farm! Grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken!
Members of the CSA can select either 10 or 15 lb. shares, delivered bi-weekly with a pickup every other Saturday in Reading. Premium steak upgrades are an add-on for either the 10 or 15 lb. shares (porterhouse, T-bones, sirloin strip steaks, sirloin)
A typical CSA basic share would include an assortment of chicken, beef, and pork, such as:
- Ground beef / hamburger (on the lean side)
- Steak tips
- Beef kabobs
- Bacon
- Ground breakfast sausage
- Ground hot and sweet Italian sausage
- Pork chops
- Baby back ribs
- Country style spareribs
- Chicken (whole broilers and our new pre-cut chicken breasts)
Basic Share 10 lbs – $595 (will be prorated depending on how many pickups have been missed by time of sign-up)
Basic Share 15 lbs – $895 (will be prorated depending on how many pickups have been missed by time of sign-up)
Premium steak upgrade – $195 (12 lbs. for the price of 10 lbs. of premium steaks, delivered over 4 pickups)

White Gates Farm is proud to be joining the Kittery (Maine) Community Market for the 2016 Season, which runs on Sundays, 10 am to 2 pm, from June 5th through October 2, 2016.
